What is the Singapore Arrival Card?

Is the SGAC the same as a visa?

No. The SGAC is an arrival declaration. A visa is permission to enter. Many travellers need both.

Do children need their own SGAC?

Yes, including infants. A parent or guardian fills it in on their behalf using the child's passport details.

What if I'm just transiting through Changi?

Accepted Answer

If you stay airside in the international transit area, no SGAC needed. If you exit airside for any reason, you need one.
